I hereby consent that my son Joseph P. West may ship on Board Bark Andrews for a whaling voyage to the Atlantic Ocean and Elsewhere that he may make his own bargains for his own lay and settle his voyage when he returns and transacting business connected with said voyage as if he was Twenty one Years of age.
