At a like Request; We the undersigned did this day again proceed on board the Barque "President" ( Seabury Master) for the purpose of inspecting the repairs done to said barque at this Port of Gibaltar. Having then and there carefully surveyed same; do hereby certify that we find our former recommendation of the 30th of June 1869 has been fully and satisfactorily complied with. / Further / that said Barque "President" is now tight, staunch, strong, fully equipped and in our opinion perfectly seaworthy to proceed on her intended cruise (Whaling)
